    The entrance point to the Everest Region is either the famous Lukla Airport or the lesser known Phaplu airport. To Lukla there are daily flights from Kathmandu, while a chartered helicopter is the best way to get to Phaplu.

    The Khumbu region is among the most desired and busy destinations in Nepal because of Mount Everest. Though it is a popular area, there are still trails that offer quiet and secluded escapes with spectacular Himalayan views.
